55 years ago is like light years in technology; But what I really like about this recording is to hear a fresh Bergonzi who had turned from baritone to tenor, and his lower register was still coordinated with his upper register, and he had good power in both together. I saw him do a concert in Washington D.C., in the late 1980's, and he was tired. But I like him. I have nearly every complete opera recording and all his solo albums. This one I did not have, BUT, thanks to you Guillermo, I now have it too. Bergonzi sounds great.
