Thank you very much for this. But.... I think you uploaded the second CD two times, both liks are of the second half of the opera.... We need the real CD1 :) Also, I think they should have written it somewhere in the front or back cover that this performance is sung in Italian, not in the original French.
Unfortunatelly again I listen to the first CD begining with the same music that the second CD begins.... only the last four tracks, no16-no20, really follow the tracklisting that the first CD indicates. But it's ok, it's obviously an error of the original CD manufactoror, not yours, I won't insist anymore :) After I downloaded and saw the tracklist, I realized it was sung in Italian. No big deal, Operas were translated until recently. (how long I'm searching for the very first recording of this opera, Faust.... recorded more than 100 years ago, in German, with the legend Emmy Destinn as Marguerithe!) It's twice as interesting to listen the great Renata Scotto singing this in Italian, I have the DVD from Japan (three years later I think) where she sings Marguerithe in French! Great comparison. The sound is OK, it's a great document. Thanks again!
The first Faust with Destinn will be published in my blog recordplayer78.blogspot.com during the next weeks (if Guillermo or someone other does not do it first). Greetings from Emilio

Buen Humilde, I've discovered precisely the same as Demis; it has to be the manufacturer and not you. Like all the others I also would love to have this novelty production. All the voices were in reasonably good condition in 1970; and I love the Faust/Mephistopheles duet in Act I.
To you we are very grateful for all you do for us! Bravo, senor. Bob
