Thank you very much for this. Everybody knows that Nilsson was supreme in Wagner, and second only to Flagstad. But she was amazing also in the Italian repertoire, especially in Verdi. Her Aida, Leonora (from Forza del Destino) Amelia and Lady Macbeth are among the best. And I remember hearing her live in an open-air recital when she sang Abigaille's aria, and she was really stunning.
